My apologies, but I'm not familiar with that. Unfortunately, I do not have access to the OEM part or the new part, but it appeared their thickness was the same.

He is rusted

Although the product looked as good as it was expected to, it was covered in rust and there was no oil protectant. I ended up soaking it in rust conditioner for a couple of hours.
