The 8740 high-tensile strength chromoly steel that they are made from is aircraft-grade, and they can withstand up to 190,000 PSI. As part of their rigorous internal quality control procedures for their fasteners, Speedmaster machines and thread-rolls them to ensure the exacting tolerances that the company expects. To ensure strong and consistent torque readings, this method is used. A total of 4130 heat-treated, parallel-ground washers and high-strength washers are included in every kit.

Could you tell me what the torque specs are ?

As honest as I can be, send them back or inspect them for runout. My ftlb & 80 ftlb ones were crooked, so I couldn't use them, but if they are not straight, they will crack the main cap.

How is this going to work with my 78 400 2 bolt mains?
