In this case, I used a tie strap and lube technique. There is no need for a tool. It was for a super utv ball joint called a wildcat super.

Even though it was hard, I managed to attach them to my LCAs. It was hard at first to put these on since I had two needle-nose The two I ripped are the ones on the left. One of the tools even ripped a pair. The boots I bought were only sold in a 6 pack and I ripped three of them. I had to pay $60 for the boots. Seals--the company I used to buy the tool for $15--asked me for $30. The tool is not sold on the company website anymore. I would have ordered everything from them to avoid shipping charges. Then, and only then, do you realize what an amazing product they are. Knowing that my rod ends are protected gives me a good feeling. Did I get a good deal for the $90 The value of each is approximately $40 to $50 The cost for protecting the six rod ends that I needed was $50.
I love the product, however I will not pay $25 for the implant software that the manufacturer does not sell, only 2 people sell them, summit and someone on eBay, and if u have to buy 6 when you only need 4, and there is no installer included why they only got 4 stars.
When there was moisture on my new rear control arms, I had so much noise coming from the heim joints. With these boots, I covered the joints with higher quality joints and no one outside can see anything. I've been working on this since November of last year. We highly recommend it for people living in moist climates and in terrain where snow is common.
To install these, you will need to purchase pliers with special installation features. A rip is easy if these are not treated.
Those boots worked perfectly for replacing a couple heim boots that I lost. They seem a bit thinner than other boots I own, but they are still of excellent quality and I was able to install them without ripping them.
