A Toyota 22R was fitted with this kit in 1981. The old cylinder head failed due to the cam, which caused the head and rocker assembly to be destroyed. The rocker assembly and the remanned head have been installed. The valves have needed to be adjusted three times since I installed them. No idea if that's the result of the improved head (new valves, seats, springs, etc), or if it's the rocker assembly in the engine. There are no visible signs of damage to the rocker assembly. As time goes on, we will find out if it lasts. I strongly believe that *Edit *br > It's important to mention that the rocker assembly is constructed in a certain order, and mine had one of the valve cover 'mounting brackets'- if you will- The incident did not cause much concern. It was just a matter of setting the old assembly next to the new, disassembling and reassembling in the right order (zip ties helped keep the springs compressed and held in place). This will result in a star being taken off. My opinion is that it is still a good product.
I cannot say enough good things about this product.
As far as I could tell, it was pretty much the same as OEM.
I've used it so far, and it works. They state they are made in China on the box we'll see how long they last. They seem to be.
