Hi there! This indicates that it is not compatible with my vehicle. My vehicle is a Ford F-150 from 2004. With the 5, you get 150 points. Does this fit a 4l 3v trition motor?

Because this pump is designed for 4v engines, the catalog will state that it does not fit 3v engines because that is not the intended application. Externally, they are nearly identical and make an excellent bolt-on upgrade for the 3v 5. 4 liter.

Why does it say it's not compatible with a Ford F150 from 2005?

You'd like to get rid of number 5
5/5

4 tick? This pump should be used! If you're working on your 5, you'll need to keep track of the time. 4 The factory pump starts to lose pressure around 20k miles, so this pump is a must-have. It's not low enough to harm the engine, but it's also not high enough to properly operate the VVT system. On our truck, around 30k miles ago, we replaced the following. Cloyes timing set, OEM cam phasers, Melling HV pump, plugs and coil packs, and felpro timing cover and valve cover gaskets You will, in fact, spend seven hours. 900 in parts only, but you won't be disappointed with the engine, which is the well-known 5. The four ticks will vanish, and the fuel mileage and power will both increase. Since doing ours, I've done several of these jobs for others and have never had a complaint about using the above parts.

04 5 was the perfect fit
5/5

4 3v. Fits my 04 5 perfectly. 4 3v is perfect. This was replaced while I was working on my truck's timing. With all other timing components turned off, the replacement took about 15 minutes. For a complete instructional video, go to YouTube and search for fordtechmakuloco.

It does exactly what it says
5/5

It's difficult to prime, and I'm doing a full timing job on the 2008 Expedition 5. These pumps, according to 4 3v and fordtechmakuloco's video, have more volume and pressure than stock Ford pumps, as well as a thick cast backing plate that does not flex and lose pressure at higher rpm. To remove and install the oil pick up bolts, you'll need an 8 mm flex head ratchet wrench and a cat claw. My issue was that the pump seemed to be air-locked and would not build pressure even after priming it. I disconnected the crank position sensor, so it didn't fire, but there was no pressure. I ended up removing the motorcraft fl820s filter, which was a one-way check valve, and replacing it with a cheapo filter that I verified allowed oil to drain back down, as well as using my mechanical oil pressure gauge hose installed upstream of the filter and a one gallon garden sprayer to feed oil through a 1/4" barb to 1/4 npt that the oil pressure gauge had fitting to match through a temporary gauge hose into the top of the fully installed pump. I'm not sure why the pump needed all of this to finally build pressure, but Melli g could make a much better video than the one where they're pumping oil into the oil filter housing that never makes it to the pump.

This is the most effective method for 5

4l 3v. My truck had a broken timing guide, but after upgrading to this oil pump, it runs great and has no issues. br>br>If Ford tells you that you need a new engine, don't believe them. br>br>Do all the timing and upgrade your oil pump at the same time. My truck runs like new and has no common ticks.

So far, the pump has been fantastic! So far, there have been no problems with this oil pump

It said it wasn't compatible with my truck while I was searching. br>It is compatible with a 2010 Ford F250 5. There are four tritons in a triton motor. If you're not going to remove the oil pan, make sure you have the ratchet flex able neck 8mm wrench.

It was the best money I've ever spent
5/5

This oil pump was purchased for my 5-year-old daughter. It's a four-triton, three-valve motor that's performed admirably. I don't have any problems with oil pressure. Due to timing guides breaking and aluminum shavings from the front timing cover clogging it up, I had to replace the oil pick-up tube as well. If you're doing a timing job or simply an oil pump, this is well worth the money.

It does fit 5, which is a great feature
5/5

05 f150, 4 liter, 3 volt. If you're tearing down a 5 for any reason past the timing chains, this is a must. 3 liters of water, 4 liters of electricity The pump was of excellent quality, but you'll need an 8mm flex head gear wrench to remove the single oil pickup tube bolt, or you'll be very frustrated. Take your time with this and make sure it's right; it took me a long time to prime the pump by squirting oil in through the outside oil filter fort. You don't want to worry about whether you put the o ring back on or whether the pickup bolts are tight enough after the first ten tries. I used a differential suction tool to squirt oil in and a regular Fram oil filter. I primed with the crankshaft sensor unhooked and did it before putting the fan and shroud back on. I tried a few different online methods and had to recharge the battery once, but once it was primed, I was ready to go!.

I used this pump on my 5 and it was a must-have
5/5

If you are inside a 5 4L 3v for any reason and need to replace timing components, turn on this pump; it will extend the life of your engine. The increased volume fills in gaps caused by wear and keeps your pressure higher for longer engine life; the factory-installed pump is insufficient, and the engine will have issues down the road, even if you maintain it meticulously. Install this pump to ensure that your engine is in good working order.
