My husband estimates the width to be around 1 1/2 inches. I'm hoping this helps you out.
Yes. My mini bike turned out fine when this was used. It works just fine.

Reviewers all over the world have reviewed this product -. There were those who achieved great results and those who did well. Several factors contributed to my poor results, including the setting you received and the application you submitted. As far as quality control is concerned, what we can see is clearly insufficient on the included bands. This piece of jewelry consists of 10 random feet that are attached to the pliers. In the middle of any song, there is one square band member. There are some even closer to the right edge and some more, although some feet even overhang it. Basically, these types of pliers have a very narrow profile, where they can't grasp the entire band, and consequently twist it into a cone shape; however, in many cases the pliers Some bands aren't able to be used facing one way either. Further, the spring used for the pliers is heavily weakened, as well as the ratchet teeth, which are widely spaced and make you go from not having enough to "too much" grip. A task like this never goes smoothly, so I used these to make things more frustrating. This is less likely to cause a problem if you will only use it occasionally, but I prefer this rather than the cheap tool if you intend to build a V12 for your computer daily. I believe that the currents in these are barely adequate for one four-cycle motor.
I found the hotel's arrival to be prompt and better than the off-shore units that have been offered. Installing cylinders and Piston Rings on my 2007 Buell XB12 with this ring compressor (which is exactly like a H-Ring). This is most likely a V-V motorcycle like the d Sportster motor. Twin). As far as I know, the 10- cylinders won't work for installing them. I used my 1/2 yard long handle pliers/tape to put the spring loaded ratchet in a meth pot (I can tell they are twitchers from meth). In case the ring is not attached on one end with a nut (make sure not to break it in the crankcase) and to stop it between the two nuts, hold onto the top screw and loosen it after installing it. One or two of the prongs under the bands that is separated from the band by the handles / pliers may be easier to handle, along with some spots that would be easier to weld if used correctly. But this varies across all types of compressor types. I basically use all band material; I also have trouble with the handles/prickles. Included are photos from when using the handle / pliers ttery I have included photos (K- When I saw the old K-shaped shaped container (A on the right), I went for it. Although they may sound similar to each other, K's are developed in the United States. It is much easier to grind Ds because they have smoother toothed ratchets. During a visit to my son's home, I found a few fine teeth on his school's wall. These rounded rings confirm a low opinion I have of the ratcheting feature of this type ring compressor, which would indicate that these cylinders are rounded off and wouldn't take hold.
A customer is using this item to build his engine because I bought this item for it. Since I found the tool a little thick and uncomfortable to fit on expansion rings, I ended up fighting it. After I finally found the piston, and I placed the cylinder in a large gouge found in the skirt of the mechanism I fell in amazement. After inspection, I found a tiny burr in the tool ring; this led me to notice that I was putting the gauge in the skirt of the piston without a replacement item. I will need to go out on my own this evening. The project will be completed for the customer. Nonetheless, I purchased another tool at a quarter of the price, and I was able to install the other non-damaged Piston in minutes without damage. It is extremely important to examine interior surface quality very carefully to check for defects if your purchase. As an added feature, this can also be very problematic for users because it is hard to use and also the pliers keep going in the ring.
You cannot remove thick bands from the top since the two thickest rings do not allow removal. (Why would you spend time squeezing them the other two osy goosy has micro teeth but does not catch beneath tension.
Good quality material. My Harley Shovelhead's cylinders were perfectly adjusted and I drove it home. It's mainly designed to suit cars, so be sure to check that out. The mark means "BOTTOM" for motorcycle use since they place their piston in between the jug's bottom and top bore instead of their cylinder's head as in a car block.
I was done with this. I did the best I could. My Harley was left with a rear jug which required replacing and the ring compressor should fit under it so the jug is easily removed. There was nothing left to do.
The tool works really well, it has a great ratcheting mechanism and a variety of sizes - I worked on it for about an hour while using it for years, the first thing I noticed was that it turned down the rings by hand, bleeding all over. So I decided to use the With a length of maybe 3", my had a diameter of 4 inches, too. A great tool at $3 and I'll purchase another one.
Using compression rings without cleaning their surface first won't result in damage, will leave scratches on pistons or damage a ring on your smaller engine if it's not properly polished. Although the overall appearance looks great, one should check the rings before using it.
