Is this compatible with the 2013 Outback How does 5i Limited work?

I would like to let you know that the F108 would be compatible with the 2013 Outback I. 5. For Subaru vehicles, even with the same model and year, Subaru tends to switch between F108 and F105 even when they are the same year and Even if the F108 turns out to be too small, we will offer an equal exchange (without additional shipping costs), but we are fairly sure it is the

Selected User Reviews For Fumoto F-108N Engine Oil Drain Valve

You will save, be more convenient, and get better The kit was installed on a 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek and worked perfectly
5/5

By keeping it tucked up away from anything and by utilizing the spring-loaded device it stays out of harm's way. It is necessary to press and move the lever of the loaded valve in order to open it. In my installation, I used a tight-fitting gasket As an extra measure, I am fitting a valve cap, but I am highly doubtful that it can fail under normal operating conditions. This drain pump is top of the line, and allowing users to control the drain flow is one of the biggest benefits. The oil can be drained into glass containers if I wish for easy disposal, or a sample can be taken for a lab analysis. I no longer have to purchase crush washers each time the oil needs to be changed, so this valve has actually paid for itself.

The Subaru Crosstrek XV 2014 F-Type The traditional oil change process with an oil pan always ended up in a mess and took a lot of time so I bought one of these oil valve drains instead

Maintaining the car with this kit was the best investment I've ever made! It is in your best interest to have the extra plastic clip. In my opinion, as a Subaru owner, the many questions I have is whether to get a crush ring or a fumoto washer ring

I went with the washer ring and torqued it it down until it is in the stationary position. There was no torque wrench attached, so I just turned by feel with a 19mm wrench and went by feel until it was snug. In the last two weeks, I have driven it everyday, and it has no signs of wear and tear - not even around Make sure you do not double up on crush rings Using the washer with the valve is all that's needed.

The idea is great There was however a slight leak in the model I installed
4/5

Here is the Fumoto valve that I bought This specification is based off Industrial Tech Supply -- The following is an Amazon review. A replica was ordered from eBay a few days later. It's easy to tell the difference between an original Fumoto drain valve and a knockoff Chinese one just by passing it by. In addition to the name of Fumoto and the statement "Made in Japan", Fumoto has a smooth casting. No identifying marks can be found on the copy cat, and the casting is rough. A Fumoto valve has a stiff operation, compared to the copycat's loose one. Leaks are possible, suggesting a possibility. It was pretty easy to install the Fumoto brand valve. After two days, I found a small oil puddle under the engine. I inspected the valve and could not see where it came from, so I cleaned up the valve and the oil pan, then drove the car for a while. When I returned, I checked the valve again. I used a clean paper towel to identify the leak's source at first glance, but it turned out it was clean after all. There is an assembly port on the side of the valve that is closed off with an e-ring and a circular plate Stack the rings. A drip of oil was visible from the port when I placed a paper towel there. After waiting five minutes, I pressed my finger against a fresh paper towel, and found another oil drop. I figured that the slow leak would take a long time to leak enough oil to present a problem based on this analysis. I would think that would be good enough for my car, especially since my wife is the primary driver and she would never pay attention to The Fumoto valve was returned to the manufacturer. I have updated There was likely no leak in the Fumoto valve itself, but there was a leak in the fiber gasket that was included with the valve. Instead of a pressure washer, use a Subaru crush washer. I have updated It's the Chinese knock-off that I installed By replacing the supplied washer with a Subaru crush washer, you will save on wear and tear. A couple of oil drops were leaking from the valve before it stopped leaking. This is the first time I haven't seen a leak after 500 miles. Thanks to the crush washer, I've never had to deal with drips.

No matter how hard we try, leaks will continue

I have a Subaru Outback 2020 brand new the oil leak is coming from the valve so it is something internal. My driveway now has stains so instead of saving me headaches is causing me more, be aware when ordering the oil they might have internal problems.

It is very convenient to use after it has been installed, saves time, and requires no tools to operate
5/5

There is nothing better than this product. The first time I used it, it did what it should have done. In about three months, I installed it while performing an oil change. It actually went very smoothly. During this past weekend's oil change on my 2014 Subaru Forester, I managed to save time and find a tool without the need to search. By turning it with one hand, I was able to let the oil out without getting any I then turned the screw a quarter turn back and it was done draining. If you happen to own a 2014 Subaru Forester, you needn't worry if you're concerned that this is hanging down and being in harm's way. This part is covered by a plastic "shroud," which keeps it from being the lowest part of the car. It shouldn't catch anything on this part, because it is not the lowest. My trusted friends and I discussed this before purchasing and they were apprehensive about it.

The last thing you want to do is change your oil! Having changed my oil myself for half a century, I still do it myself today
5/5

In the end, only half of that time involved oil valves from Fumoto. FANTASTIC is the only word I can think of to describe it! This valve is solid brass and made to a high standard. Leaks do not occur in them. Over the past eight years, I've used six of them I don't know if there are any It is my intention to buy two more for my new I know, you look at the valve and then the price and say, "I don't really need one of those," but that's just the way I think. But not everything is as it seems. It will make you not want to change your oil without one after you use it. It's much cleaner and faster just to flip the lever and not fumble around with a messy drain plug. And you won't have to wash the oil off of your hands or anywhere else it may have sprayed. Murphy's Law is a law that applies to everyone. Always on the prowl, he does not leave anything to chance. Now comes the time for you to come into the light, or suffer the consequences of what you missed. Don't hesitate to try it! You won't regret it!.

Is a valve This is fantastic
5/5

As this little puppy has been attached to my 2014 Subaru Forester for the first time, I did my first oil change with it. A perfect job was done by the valve. In this case, the change was a tool-related one. The breeze is less. I guess I'll just say Less than that. It took me a little time to crank the oil filter, but that isn't the scope of I found the whole process to be a lot cleaner than using In contrast to the 2014 Foresters, the 2014 Foresters don't have the shielding on the underside and the slit for accessing the oil pan nut is only a small one. So, if you want to keep your hands as clean as possible, getting at the valve lever can be challenging. This again falls outside of the scope of the article. The line of products is one I would recommend to everyone. I'd like to highlight a few fun things In addition to making a cap for the nub, I also added a valve cap to prevent anything from getting in. The first one I took was A 5" to 2" length of plastic tubing (probably the one recommended here) was ignited to melting point at one end (aimed at the inside of the tubing) and pinched I like it a lot. Without a doubt, I'll buy a Fumoto for my next car.
