The package was well-packaged, well-made, and the instructions were clear. br>br>Does exactly what it should and appears to have a long life (engine has 180k miles on it, so this should last the rest of the engine's life). br>br>After gaining access, which on a 4x4 Durango necessitated a significant amount of removal, installation was straightforward. It took about 30 minutes to remove the old one and replace it, with the majority of that time spent carefully cleaning and preparing the mating surfaces on the end main and cap. br>br>The only drawback is that the price appears to be a little high for what it is. That said, unless you're careless and don't install it correctly, you won't have to touch it again.
Keep an eye on the direction of the lip. Remove the old one with a nail punch and replace it with the new one. To achieve a perfect seal, clean the gap and apply anaerobic sealant.
