Copper that has been tinned
That's a good example of a flat surface.
Your question is a little vague, but the answer is that it's a ground strap with holes big enough for a 3/8 bolt, so if the length is right for you, it'll do the trick.
Allows for a 1/2" bolt to be used.

This thing has turned out to be enormous! The strap is about 3/4" wide and 12" long, with holes that can take up to a 1/2" bolt. Nonetheless, because the strap material is very malleable (almost soft), this worked perfectly in my 2013 Subaru Forester. I used a stainless steel washer to keep the bolt (10mm hex head) from pulling through the strap, and I was able to tuck the strap out of the way. br>br>I was having issues with extended cranking (slow start) and was able to fix it by replacing the broken ground strap. While I would not have bought it if I had known how big it was, I am glad I did because it is a significant improvement over the stock strap.
It measures 12 inches long and 1 inch wide. So, if you're looking for something smaller, this isn't it. It performs flawlessly for me. On an old car, I had plenty of room, so I used it to ground the engine to the body. It fixed some sporadic electrical issues I'd had for a few years. 100% made in the United States of America as well as the.
I combed through listings looking for something that wasn't made in the People's Republic of China, and I was pleased to find this ground strap that was both reasonably priced and made in the United States. This is an excellent example of a well-written essay. My Chevy is pleased with the well-made, durable product.
Good quality, much better than the ones you can get at your local parts store; for some reason, no one stocks decent ground straps, so prompt shipping was very helpful. Great for grounding engines or if you have a lot of electronics running.
This is what I used to ground my Kenworth's CB antenna. It's well-made and gets the job done.
It accomplishes the task at hand. It's a little bigger than I expected, measuring 12 inches long by 1 inch wide, and it's what I used to replace a factory ground strap that I tore while installing an exhaust system. It does a good job of removing static noise from my speakers.
On a 2013 Chrysler Town & Country, I used this to replace a broken ground strap. Country. It outperforms the factory strap and eliminates some of the van's skewed shifting issues. br>br>The stock strap is shown next to this one in the photos.
Product and quality are both excellent. I'm very happy. You won't believe me if I tell you that I couldn't find this in any Auto Parts stores in South Africa, or that the salespeople couldn't even think of it. Thank you so much to Standard Motor Products for once again assisting me with parts for both my Jeep and my Bronco.
