I have a 2020 Mercury FourStroke 75hp outboard with pockets built into the design that this device fits into. As a result, it fits like a glove. It installs in seconds, stabilizes the engine, is built to last a lifetime, and the red color matches the graphics on the engine perfectly; it's a fantastic product that is well worth the money.
I decided to try the DD26 after losing two transom savers that isolated my Mercury 90 hp from my bass boat trailer. It's definitely expensive, but it's truly incredible. It's high quality, easy to use, won't get lost while traveling, and it's extremely durable. Even better, I was getting vibration from my old setup, which has completely vanished since I started using the DD26. It is unquestionably worth the money.
It really works. The quality is excellent, and I strongly advise you to purchase it. It's far superior to the large one that came with my new boat. My lower unit had been scratched by the previous one. This one simply snaps into place and allows you to lower your vehicle's speed. You're all set.
The goal of this review is to persuade Amazon to add another category to the Return Item category. When your return does not fit into the options provided, I believe Amazon should reintroduce the "OTHER" category. A commit screen should appear after this. Because it didn't work for my Mercury 300 HP Verado with power tilt-trim, my only option in the options was Defective or Doesn't Work. The product was neither defective nor unusable if it had been tailored to my needs. This product is of excellent quality, and it is built to last the life of the boat.
This is fantastic; I got it for my husband for Valentine's Day and he loves it. I ordered the wrong one and had to call the dealer to have it replaced. I received it by the end of the week. Dealer went out of his way to ensure that we were well taken care of. The product is well-made and does not appear to be of poor quality. It appears to be of high quality and will last a long time.
I'll never forget how DD26 took advantage of me. Any DD26 pricing will make me suspicious.
Because many dealers in our area were out of stock on items, we took a chance and ordered this online because our boat was due to arrive, and we couldn't use our older version due to the year model upgrade we made. Item arrived in good condition and in accordance with the description. While towing the boat, my husband is unconcerned about his Mercury engine.
This item is referred to as a "transom saver," and it does exactly that. It's used in transportation to keep an outboard motor upright and steady (without bouncing around when towing). It's an expensive item for its size, but you get what you pay for, as the saying goes. It's well-made and, without a doubt, a high-quality piece of gear. This is something I should've had years ago. It's a breeze to work with. It is something I strongly suggest.
