Is this part also for a 2001 PT Cruiser's front right upper motor mount?

It worked fine on a 2006 turbo Pt, and it should work fine on a 2001 as well. Lower mounts (turbo vs. standard) are the difference.

Is this for the passenger side of the vehicle?

It only fits the passenger side, as far as I know; my two Noens and PT Crusier have the same mount.

Because the part didn't fit, I wrote a vehement review. I tried for hours to make it fit, but it wouldn't. br>br>I tried installing the lower mount from another vendor, but it didn't fit either. It had to be something else at this point, I realized. I eventually realized it was because I was driving on ramps rather than using a Jack to lift the car. The frame shifted enough that the components did not line up as a result. br>br>As a result of this lesson, the part fit perfectly. The only difference I noticed was that instead of being metal, the holes are made of some sort of resin, which I'm not sure how this will affect wear.

The replacement part was delivered on time. It's a dead ringer for the original. It was a little difficult to get the old one out. To get the mount bolt out of the engine compartment, the center bolt had to be removed first.

What a fantastic outcome!! My car is a Dodge Neon SXT from 2005

As the car approached 100,000 miles and I began to experience vibrations while driving, I decided to replace all three engine mounts. After switching all three mounts, the difference is huge! Significantly improved driving comfort, as well as a significant reduction in engine vibration. It was absolutely fantastic! When the engine is at idle and the gear is in drive, I barely notice it running; however, whenever I stop at a red light, the engine jumps around. It comes highly recommended! In addition, it is less expensive than AutoZone and Checkers.
