Questions & Answers

The item had been purchased, but when I was ready to install it I discovered there was not enough material to install all cylinder heads. The number of short studs wasn't enough?

It caught my attention as well, but did you notice that the revolutions need to match for There is not that much thread inside the block, so they do not have to be sunk that far. Try putting your finger inside a coolant passage next to your bolt it will feel like a pinhole. I hope this helps, and also the bolts are only for small block Chevys, which you probably have.

This looks like it would fit my 5'7" frame. Is this the third generation of the franchise?

Chevrolet small block engines manufactured before 1986 can be fitted with this. Your gen 3 and 5 will not work with that program.

We would like to suggest that some of the studs be a bit shorter
4/5

Some of the studs seem a bit too short, or the thread going into the block seems a bit too My studs weren't properly torqued into the block once the heads were installed and I made sure that all of the nuts were completely engaged in the block. Strain on the stud and it has been broken
3/5

An engine short block assembly normally happens when one of these Chinese studs breaks down in the block as the result of stretching. I was influenced by the tight budget. I bought replacement ARPs and have not had any The first thing I wish I had done was to buy them!.
