Some of the studs seem a bit too short, or the thread going into the block seems a bit too My studs weren't properly torqued into the block once the heads were installed and I made sure that all of the nuts were completely engaged in the block. In other words, the nut couldn't be threaded all the way through the stud.
Good quality studs, washers, nuts, they fitted perfectly and torqued down to 65lbs on my 350 sbc head.
