In terms of finish, the base looked good

The drop measurements for this product could not be located, but I ordered it anyways. A total of 1 seems to be present. On my Edelbrock 1406, it almost cleared the electric choke with a 5 inch drop, but not quite. It will be necessary to order a 1/4-1/2-inch spacer in order to be able to clear the carburetor. It is a problem that I need at least a 1" On the base, the finish was good, but the carb hole was a bit off-round. It could not be handled by a gasket. My application was not compatible with the product. Overall, though it was a decent product.

On an Edelbrock carburetor, it doesn't clear the electric choke

The air cleaner base had to be spaced up to clear the electric choke on the edelbrock carb after making a spacer to go between the carb neck and the bottom of the air cleaner base. The spacer seems to be about 1/4 inch from clearing without it. I was able to resolve the issue afterward.
