It is only the mounting holes where the mount screws into the dash that I found to be a problem. There is a problem with the alignment of the holes. The holes on the right needed to be filed into an oval so the mounting groove on the left would lock in properly and stay put. You will not be able to put the mount into that groove if you don't file the holes to fit. To be honest, it seemed like a minor issue to me.

Exisiting old radio ears can be bent back with a dremel to fit the new ear catch. Then insert the new ear You can now insert the song into the Plug in your new stereo and slide it in the Now boom, your job is.

I installed this in my 1994 Volvo 940 Turbo sedan and it worked perfectly. There were tons of excess parts I didn't need, but somehow I was able to gather everything I needed to do the installation. I like the way it looks, it blends in well with the dash, and it fits well. I've had a Clarion deck in there for a couple months without any problems.

This didn't work well with my stereo, but with a bit of ingenuity I was able to make it work. It would have been better if I had simply used the insert that came with the stock.

I opted for the 1989 Volvo 245 because it is easy to fit. Delivery within a short timeframe. thing to remember when installing these parts into the dashboard is not to overtighten them.
