I think a reusable filter would be great
Does it come with a 4 bbl carburetor? I have an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold in my 1986 350 and it works like a charm
Hello, *br>I think it's very safe to assume that this filter will work perfectly. It appears that the depth measurement is the same between the 1600 series and the 1404. One difference I noticed is that the 1405 looked like it had a choke on it? Your friends are going to love it, I think. It performs very well and looks great.
You should be able to fit it easily. When closing the hood, make sure you have enough clearance. The air cleaner stands about four feet tall

On a 1969 chevelle big block, I put it to use. The hood was hitting the top of the seat because of its height. This was because the old base couldn't be used. Having the center nut sink and flush with the ribs makes it almost impossible to tighten a decorative fly nut of the same size. I am having trouble cleaning between the ribs because the black is already peeling off.
Added a touch of class to my car and fitted perfectly. It is extremely well made, and it will outperform everything in its class It is the best car I've ever driven, and I couldn't be more pleased with it. The only reason this isn't a perfect 5 stars is because the filter included in the box was defective. After I installed it and put about 50 miles on the car, I had to take the whole air cleaner The moment I was putting the red filter back into place, I noticed a small spot of light that was about the size of a quarter coming through. There was a large spot where there was no filter material adhered to the screen part of the filter, when I held it up to the light. My car would have drawn a lot of dirt and grit straight into the engine if I hadn't upgraded to a K&N filter However, that added about $40 to the cost of this project.
So in general, you should go for filtration that is more effective than the N filter. This assembly is absolutely amazing - I highly recommend it. It will be a great experience for you. However, you might want to avoid using the included filter unless you have thoroughly tested it.
I love the red color of this air cleaner. I have a car that matches this. There is nothing I dislike about it and it gives the engine bay a real classy appearance, especially with my edelbrock intake. A nice steel mesh surround intertwines around the air cleaner so it can compensate for the heavier top covering it - So that the dust won't go down the air filter, it can't squirt. It had to be cut down with a hacksaw to fit the threads on the hold-down screw for the carburetor. The bolts were perfectly tight. I get a lot of compliments at the car shows I attend because this was such a great deal. Edelbrock is the best! You will always find the best car accessories at these guys, and I will continue to purchase them.

I need this to complete my engine. Whenever I wear it, people compliment me on it.
