Questions & Answers
Hello. Yes, the tensioner assembly is entirely made of metal, and no, I do not believe this one will fit the Aveo due to its unique shape. I hope this has provided you with answers to your questions.
On a 2005 Denali 6, I put it to good use. As a result, the value should be 0 as well.
I have no idea, but I have my doubts. It's the perfect fit for my 2006 Chevy Silverado pickup with a 325 V8.
If the 5 is present, it should fit. 3L V8

Two thumbs up from me. 2003 GMC Sierra - *****Real AC Delco part****
Made in Canada, 3L v8br> The markings back this up. They arrived quickly and got right to work, as they always do. The spring is nice and tight. br> The old one, on the other hand, felt clogged and difficult to move. In terms of original equipment manufacturers, This is the exact part that was removed from the truck. Period. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY OTHER KNOCK OFFS. If you have a choice, always use Delco for GM vehicles.
Because I am older and doing the job myself, it took me a long time to remove the old part. When I compared the two, I realized it was the incorrect part, though it was impossible to tell until it was removed. Returning to the Amazon website, I noticed a note at the top of the page stating that it did not fit my vehicle, despite the fact that it had come up as a match during my initial search. My return window, according to the website, had passed. Why did it appear during my search if it wasn't a match, and why did the return window close so quickly? I don't own an auto repair shop, and due to current circumstances, I've had a lot on my plate, so the repair has taken a back seat. br>I'm in desperate need of assistance! All I want to do is replace this part with one that will fit my Honda Odyssey from 2001.
While that one was going out, I figured it wouldn't take long for this one to go as well. I'm glad I changed it out. When comparing the tension between the new and the old, it was like night and day. The ACDelco 38158 Professional Automatic Belt Tensioner and Pulley Assembly was easy to replace and fit perfectly. This is a genuine ACDelco part, not a knock-off. off.
If the tensioner pulley spring on your car's engine breaks, the water pump will stop working, and the alternator will stop charging the battery, causing serious damage to the engine. If your car or truck has aluminum heads and blocks, you're in for a lot of trouble. Because heads can easily warp, your valves will be bent or you will need to replace them.
Silverado 3 liter FlexFuel On an 06 Silverado, 5. 9L, this was a simple replacement and a perfect fit for the original tensioner. 3 FlexFuel with a 145 amp alternator Part from AC Delco, made in Canada (at least this one). A 15mm socket, a 3/8-inch ratchet, and a short extension were all that was required. Save the bolts you would have used to remove the original tensioner. NOTE: Keep in mind which bolt comes out of which position; they are not all the same length (at least on my vehicle). Also, don't overtighten them when retying them.
Mine came from Canada rather than China. I originally purchased a Gates with an exposed tension stop on the backside that would collect dust and grit over time. In addition, the pulley felt loose and "smooth. " I couldn't find any information about where the Gates were made, but I'd venture a guess. Canada is not one of them.
3 gas. It was an exact match. The next time I replace this belt, I'll probably buy a new one because the box had a cut open GM seal. The part appeared to be OEM and had a Made in Canada stamp on it. It was also the same weight as the OEM. Had the seal not been broken, I would have been more confident in the part. However, for the time being, the part works flawlessly.
When the item arrived, it was broken. Because there were no broken pieces in the box, it was already damaged when it was shipped. Fortunately, the location of the break had no effect on functionality, so we were able to continue using it. It was also a frustrating experience because it arrived a day late and we didn't have a vehicle until the product arrived. We even placed a second order in case the first was lost; we were not pleased with the entire experience.
