The fin on the cylinder jug was bent and split on both sides. There was a crack in this. My fingers barely managed to remove it from its packaging before it fell off. Delivered product was received without issue. I am thankful. A secure packaging of this kit would have kept it from being damaged. Due to the lack of plating, I had to hone and polish the cylinder many times. As the head mating surface had sand pits, I had to machine it down to an acceptable limit, but still was required to use (2) head gaskets for proper chamber and piston A port had to be ported on both the intake and exhaust. The "sand pits" and flat plane mating required them to be machined as well. In the new piston, the "PIN BORE" location was placed six millimeters off from the original location. The length is 2 meters. Using the previous piston with new pin and rings allowed me to reposition it vertically, which would have caused the stroke to be prolonged. The assembly went smoothly, but I was concerned by the quality of the (2) head gaskets that were A check-ride of the motor resulted in good results as far as performance is concerned. There are no problems with the connection between the head and port. Despite the outstanding and stable acceleration, nothing was slowed down. Well, it's in great condition, a nice replacement piston and cylinder. As a result, I'm not taking off stars for that, because it's my fault for not paying attention, but if you are going to buy this and you are running any type of manifold bigger than a 32mm one, you will need to get one! Additionally, if you don't already have one you will need a carb that fits that manifold intake if you don't already have one.
