Selected User Reviews For Rotary Engine Dipstick - Nickel Plated by Rotary13B1
It's a bargain considering what you're getting for the money. I think that's it! It's marketed as a dipstick in the advertising. Because of some reason, I did not read reviews before buying. It is even very expensive for a dipstick, but the reason I bought it is that I had not seen anything like it before. If I were to rate it, I would give it fewer stars, or maybe a half star since I like the "charm" but it was not worth the money spent. A dipstick cannot be attached to it as there is no hardware for doing so. In other reviews, I've read that you really have to buy some hardware and rig it to make it I'm not going to do it! MAKE SURE YOU CHECK EVERYTHING PRIOR TO PURCHASE! There was a lot of anger in my heart. It was a Christmas gift for my husband. It will be returned to you shortly.
If you cut the OEM stick, you can't fit the head in the hole, and the stick has a larger diameter than the OEM head. In order to fit this new dipstick, you will need a new one. However, it is heavy, so it would make a good.
The rotary piece itself appears to be nice, but it does not come with any hardware. The allen wrench/key that comes with it is the tiniest I have Still not sure what I'm going to do with it. This product is a waste of money. Save some money and do not buy it.
Although I received the product, it is of great quality, however the set screw is missing, so it cannot be attached to a modified dipstick without falling off, or the screw is of such a large diameter that it is impossible to find.
The dipstick screw didn't come with the tiny bolt necessary to lock it in place, so I was lucky to have extra screws.
There isn't any hardware included in the package.
