I have never been able to get them to work correctly. Although they are from the same manufacturer, this cord is significant cheaper than the original cord. The only real differences between these cords are better heat shielding and clips to secure them The rubber cover for the plug would have been nice to have included. On Amazon, I had to buy a separate one for $7. Just by mounting this cord yourself, as well as adding a cord cover, you have saved a little money over factory cords.

Despite the fact that my truck came with an installation kit, the cord was never installed. 50K for a Ram diesel! Now that I have this cord I can use my Ram as a block heater. No issues with the installation and use of the software.

It doesn't make sense why Amazon says it won't fit my 2003 6 or 7 inch laptop. It was a perfect fit for a 0 powerstroke. Instead of clipping it on the threads of the heater element as I had before, this one So far, everything seems to be working as expected. There is nothing to complain about.

A 01' F250 is equipped with this kit. It has so far been a good experience. Install is not hard at all. The unit seems sturdy enough to last. There are no manuals included, so you won't be able to install it if you've never done it before. YouTube has the video, but it's quite easy to find.

I have just installed it on my 2008 2500 6 and it works great. It is powered by a 7 Cummins engine. We are getting ready for winter in the Eastern Sierra. As of yet I have kept it in the truck. It seems to do well in low temperatures.
At the moment, the lows are around 22* F. We can expect to have lows of 0* before too long. There's no doubt that this will give her an extra boost at the beginning of the day.
