This cable is close to OEM and would work fine

It is a high-quality cable. While the plug fits snugly and exactly like the original, the wires are located at a 180-degree angle. Considering the cable does sit next to the block, it would be nice if it had the heat shield the original had. Most of the time, this cable should work fine. A couple of small changes would be needed, though.

This item has the 3600006 code on the packaging, but the cord does not make it into A crescent moon-shaped female end that matches my requirements can be seen in the picture. In the product delivered, there is a ring that screws into the engine block heater but has two holes on the female end.

Originals do not have 90 on them

The part is not an exact fit for my 2001 Duramax, but it shipped quickly. Although I was able to utilize it, the original OEM does not have a 90, so I had a bit of a challenge fitting it.

I was really irritated by the fact that I had to search for and purchase a separate cap to keep the plug clean. Apart from that, the product is quality, but the company selling it does not deserve a high recommendation.
