There is still about 4" left of cord on my 07 PS after having reached from the block heater along the frame and tied around my right tow loop, but it would have been about 6" if it was not for the cord ending on the frame.

I installed it on my 96 and it The threaded cord on the 7 is the proper cord. On my 96, I installed it and it worked perfectly.
