On the passenger side of the block is the block heater, which has one end that goes in. A 120V outlet is located on the other side
In my vehicle, the element was already installed, and all I needed to do was plug it in.
Yes, it is. The installation was done by me. I really like how this works.
You should be able to fit it. It worked just fine for me with a 2005.

I plugged this right into my LBZ duramax and it worked perfectly all winter. I got rid of the stock one because it was broken and this was a decent substitute. As I recall, the updated block heater plug from our dealer does not provide power until it is extremely There is no way to do that when your engine has large turbos and injectors. In all seasons apart from summer, I need mine to keep my block warm. Here's another one I tried and it's a great one. My power supply is powered by an industrial timer built to handle lots of voltage. A few hours before I am about to start my truck, this comes on. My truck starts right up with no haze, as if it was a house fire! This has been a great app for anyone with a Libreoffice package! I would highly recommend it! I would recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent product at an affordable.
Neither this item nor the 2007 Classic 2500HD 6 will fit. As stated in the title, it is 6. There is no match for the plug and many people have modified it to make it work, which makes it impossible to return. The LBZ engine is not worth the effort this time around. I've been a mechanic for over 20 years and I couldn't make it When I reached into the wheel well to reach the OEM replacement cord, it plugged in within 3 seconds.
The 2003 Silverado Duramax has this installed. Compared with the factory one that came with the truck, this one was a perfect match and fit.
Hi I had to replace the cord on my 2004 GMC 2500HD Sierra Diesal and this cord arrived quickly and the most difficult part of installation was removing the mud shield. The cord went on easily and now it works great Thanks!.
I completed the task. In any case, there is a need to file and cut the rubber plug on an 04 Duramax in order to fit into the block heater. It was a real sooth in the buttocks. It was more of a plug and play experience than anything else.
Despite this, however. The cable has just been installed. It seems to work fine. There is a 10" difference between it and the factory model. At first, I was a little upset because I wanted the cable to route just like the factory cable did. In a way, I did, and the final result was fine. I just wish it had been as it was in As well, it too did not have the heat shield of the original cord. I ended up cutting the shield off the original one and using it on the aftermarket cord anyway. It worked well, but I wished the length of the original cord was slightly longer.
I can easily plug in my 04 Duramax and start up.
A part that does not fit a 2005 Duramax has been.
