I have no issues with this. It is a direct fit to my 7 inch tablet. A 1999 F350 with 3 liters of fuel. This cord has been shortened quite a bit from its original length. There was a difference of about 22" between the two. If the wire is routed in the same direction as the factory block heater cord, the cable will just barely make it to the front of the grill. The good news is that the threaded plug backshell is Compared to the original cord setup, this one is significantly higher in quality. I find it functional and serves it's purpose well. Overall, it's a good fit. In addition to the fact that it is shorter, this is not a problem.

I bought this for my 2005 F350 powerstroke, but when I tried to run it with the block heater cable I could not, so I had to find another path that offered more room so that the wire wouldn't be As a peace of mind, I would have preferred it to use the OEM install path.
