This was a great solution. I was also able to connect a garden hose for testing and washout because it has threaded plugs in the front.

This vendor's item arrived late, almost costing me the transaction. This is an excellent part for repairing a corroded old unit.
After many years of use, it was necessary to replace the thermostat housing due to port restriction. With the exception of the temperature sensor being in a slightly different location, this was a direct bolt-on item that performed as expected.
On my Volvo Penta 4, I've installed it. 3 liter engine, but it was delivered at a lower height, so I had to buy new bolts to install it. However, everything went smoothly.
The new thermostat housing was machined to perfection and fitted to the correct specifications. It is a brand new part.
