What is the best way to get the old clamp rings off the two smaller aluminum pipes?

Clips secure the pipe that leads to the engine. A small tab must be pressed and pushed outwards. The only drawback was that it was in a small area.

Is it compatible with the GMC Acadia 2010?

I have a 2010 Buick Enclave, and my Acadia has the same powertrain. As a result, yes.

Is this compatible with a Suzuki xl7 3 from 2008? 6 liter?

This isn't going to fit your Suzuki, in my opinion.

My 2008 GMC Acadia was a perfect fit. I've been attempting to resolve a problem with my Acadia, which has resulted in the replacement of nearly everything. Today was the turn of the "thermostat," which is a pain to reach and remove, so instead, I found this fantastic product that came with a complete assembly kit, including gaskets (which I didn't use because I ordered different ones). It could have been a quicker and easier job, but it took me a few hours because it was more difficult to pull the small pipe out of its plastic connector. It was unique and simple to remove once you knew how. br>Overall, this was an excellent purchase that effectively resolved the problem. My skill set has grown by one. br>Saving money is one thing, but the satisfaction of doing it yourself and not being taken advantage of by dealers and mechanics is priceless.

The 2012 Chevy Traverse is a perfect match

You can either buy this, which is the entire thermostat housing with the gasket and thermostat already installed and new bolts, or you can buy an aftermarket thermostat, remove the housing, remove the old thermostat, install the new one and new gasket, and reinstall. Going this route is a little easier and less risky because it's an OEM exact part. This installed and worked perfectly and was well worth the extra few dollars. There are a few good videos on YouTube that will show you what you need to do to make the job easier.

It's a fantastic product that's also simple to set up. Don't try to replace the thermostat alone; instead, purchase the entire unit.
