Stant Engine Coolant Thermostat/Water Outlet Assembly, stainless steel

I have travelled 300 miles so far on a 2005 Toyota Tacoma, and it's not giving me any problems. It looks and feels exactly as the one that says Toyota does. The original reason I removed it was to keep the engine cool, and since we live in California, I wasn't sure cars needed them. I then noticed my engine was running cool, so I turned on my check engine light. As well, I noticed it wasn't using as much gas as it used to. As a result, I had already thrown it away by the time I realized. You can find out what a new car wants by listening to it.

My daughter and I bought this to replace an old Stant one we had. It was $40. My outlet will not seal once I finally got around to installing it. In the end, I changed the gasket after trying several times. My money was wasted and I wish I could get it back. It has had over 30 days since I lost it.

I was pleased with the quality of the part. It was easy to install and fitted Based on the results of my research, this appeared to be the best thermostat. There was even a rubber seal attached to it.

I highly recommend this thermostat! I received an offer for 72 bucks for this thermostat from my local part store (not Toyota dealer, which would have been even more expensive). There's no way to tell it apart from the original Toyota factory It is correct to set the temperature of 2004 4runner V-twins to 180 degrees I have a 6 according to the specs conducted research on this topic. It is my hope that this information is helpful to some of you. Since I began using their thermostats inside all my vehicles over 30 years ago, I have never had an issue. (I am not paid by anyone to make this statement. ) The experience I've had with this company throughout the years speaks for itself! A new update! SINCE I TALKED ABOUT THIS COMPANY, I AM TAKING IT ALL BACK! BUYING STANT IS OVER FOR ME! I'VE BEEN USING STANT IN ALL MY VEHICLES FOR OVER 30 YEARS, BUT A BAD THERMOSTAT has caused my vehicles to fail to heat up. A MASTER MECHANIC AND A PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC checked it. I WENT TO THE TOYOTA DEALERSHIP FOR ONE. The thermostat is not working properly, as I have written in a written statement! I now have to do this job all over again. 60 dollars were spent on diagnosis over the discovery that a brand-new component was junk! It belongs in the garbage, so I will throw it in the trash and choose something else! AFTER DIAGNOSING THE THERMOSTAT, 2 MECHANICS FROM 2 DIFFERENT COMPANIES SAID IT WAS AN AGENT FROM THIS TOYOTA DEALERSHIP has written me an offer in writing! MAKE SURE THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!.
