Don't take my word for it, but I believe I heard one that fits an f100 from 1973 to 1977. 79 would work, but the hose would need to be extended a little to fit through the firewall. Best wishes to you.

After about three months on the vehicle, the tank began to leak. The manufacturer, Spectra Premium, offers a one-year warranty, according to Amazon. When I called Spectra Premium for warranty information, I was told that because the part was purchased from Amazon, Amazon was "the customer," and that any warranty coverage would be provided by Amazon. I followed up with an e-mail. Please send an email to Amazon describing the situation. I have yet to receive a response from Amazon. So it looks like I'm out of money and am stuck with a heater core that has a manufacturing flaw and no warranty. I'd like to have this part replaced under warranty, but neither Amazon nor Spectra Premium are willing to help; if this is the case, I would advise against purchasing a Spectra Premium product from Amazon. br>3rd Update 2018: Neither Spectra nor Amazon offered any warranty support.
After contacting Spectra Premium, they advised that warranty issues should be handled by Amazon. br>br>Aside from warranty issues, the heater core fit my 1987 Ranger well, but had a slow leak due to a bad weld. Amazon deserves credit for stepping in and replacing this dreck.
For my 1993 Ranger, I found a cheap heater core. I was there for about 15 minutes and there was no leakage. It's 110 degrees in Arizona, so I'm not sure how warm it is. However, it removed the odor from the old air conditioner caused by a coolant leak.
Water does freeze in the winter, and your heater core is the first to freeze. br>It was a perfect fit for my 1987 Ford Ranger, and I couldn't be happier. In comparison to the factory original brass unit, this one is made of aluminum and is much lighter. After a year of use, there are no leaks or drips at the seams, and the system is ready for another winter season.
This is a direct replacement for the steering wheel on my 1994 Ranger. It works perfectly and there are no more leaks. Parts that fit my old pickup are becoming more difficult to come by, but this heater core is fantastic.
0 V6. It's simple to do. The quality is excellent, and the fit is excellent. I installed some of the sticky insulation from the original core (190,000 miles). The heat is fantastic, and there are no more steamy windows or the sweet odor of antifreeze. In the truck, you'll get cold.
Solid. It only took about 20 minutes to set up. I was overjoyed to be able to turn on the heater once more.
It's inexpensive, it works, and it's now working on my heater as well.
