Questions & Answers

Is it going to fit a 2006 Jeep Wrangler?

A 2006 Wrangler may be fitted with the same part, according to the web site. Youtube provided me with the information I needed once I entered my problem, then I watched Since it was located in a remote location, installing it was more difficult. There is not much room for working. As a result, my issue is now resolved. The highest setting on my blower was all I had. It is my sincerest hope that

Can it be used on a Jeep TJ 2004? Is there anything I can do to help?

I was able to fit it onto my 2004 Jeep Liberty without any problems. It took me a little longer to put it in since it's a tight area, so I rewatched the video The installation of the part can be found on YouTube. Just be careful of the locking key when you use it.

Does it make sense to disconnect the battery first? Is there any risk of an ?

It has been a long time since I disconnected the battery, but I think I did it. In the case of electric systems, you should always wear a safety mask.

How do I get this to work on a 1997 Jeep Wrangler? How about an air conditioning unit (factory)?

My guess is no. There was no way for me to get it for a 2002 Jeep Liberty because it is so

All speeds of the fan can now be controlled by the knob
5/5

It does what it's supposed to do. All fan speeds can be controlled with the knob. This installation is relatively quick, but take care to not damage the red tab on the socket where the resistor will be housed. There is a possibility of it breaking easily. Tool usage should not be used on this. Depress the inner locking part with a flat edge or small slotted screwdriver while pulling the original resistor out of its socket to enable it to be removed. It is very useful to have an online tutorial.

This part was great
5/5

After my blower on my 2004 Liberty began only working on 4 (whole blast) I did some research on what to replace it with and found this part. I also found a video on how to install it on YouTube. The blower was back to its full functionality in less than 20 minutes! Note (p. Since I am a girl and have never worked on cars before, I don't know how to fix I find the price to be very reasonable. That would have saved me a pretty penny if I had replaced it.

Buying OEM is a smart move
5/5

It was a problem with the fan not working on all the speeds, I was down to one, so I did some research and gave it a try, and it worked so far, everything works perfectly, my equipment is now working as it should.

*B. Despite the fact that it has been more than a year, the resistor continues to function. Now the blower works on.

The wrangler sport in my 2002 is fixed now
5/5

Like most of you, I had the same issue I was only able to get a full blast of The first thing I did was to switch the speed switch I kept the part installed even though it did not solve the problem. While changing the resistor is a pain in the a**, I was able to use my other 3 fan speeds again. I love it!.
