I have a 2010 Ford Escape and it works like a charm
5/5

Easily installed in a matter of minutes. I was able to use it with my 2010 Ford Escape without any problems. Previously, the blower could only be turned on when #4 was selected. My resistor had a bit of corrosion on it as seen in the picture, and that was all it took to begin causing problems. This is a quick 5-minute read It took me 10 minutes to swap out the resistors and now it works I had no problems installing. 1) Remove your glove box (3) 5mm bolts, Look straight into the glove box area and see what you see You need to move slightly up in order to find 3) Undo the wire connections and remove the 4) Repair all the parts. Enjoy knowing that you fixed it yourself and saved yourself some time, money, and effort by avoiding the hassle of taking it to a mechanic.

The 07 F- has been fixed There is no other fix I have ever done that is easier, faster, or more valuable! The F-150 I own was manufactured in 2007 I started experiencing AC/heat problems, only blowing on high
5/5

I would have to set it to one speed otherwise. In general, my girlfriend can be as cold as your ex-girlfriend and I can get as hot as the Delvils nuts in the heat of the Fourth. It was quite obvious we could not find a happy medium in this situation, so I did a little googling and found out this could be an I was surprised when my air conditioner blew on all 4 speeds again within 20 minutes of my lunch break. Mostly speed 1 is low and slow, speed 2 is a nice medium, speed 3 is exact same as speed 2 with no change, and speed 4 is a screaming speed! After I ordered, I also got an email from the seller telling me if I had any problems to contact them and providing links to instructional videos. You can try this if it does not fix your issue, but if it didn't work, it wasn't the problem.

It's a perfect replacement for a great price

Exactly what you need for your 2012 Expedition, and it works really well. In order to gain a general understanding of what I was supposed to do, I watched several youtube videos. In order to remove the glove box from our Expedition, I needed to remove three bolts under the glove Everything was correct with the videos There is a 7mm socket on this. My next step was to open the glovebox to remove it, in order to do so I had to cock it to one side. There was a resistor almost right at the front, so it could be seen easily. Using an 8mm socket was necessary to remove the two bolts holding it in place, as the videos indicated. To get the bolt out of the far side, I had to use a lot of force in the tight space, but I finally did it. I am not a mechanical person, so it took some effort. The task would have been accomplished much faster by someone more proficient in use of tools. You can use a flashlight to illuminate the darkness. Using a screwdriver, the bolts were removed and the resistor was removed smoothly. Putting the clip on the cable out, I was able to pull out the old resistor. Installing the new resistor was simple. I simply inserted it and clicked it in place. The only way for it to go is down. As soon as I had it completely in, I hand started the bolts. I made sure it was fully seated in the slot from where it was removed. The process of putting them back in went much more quickly. His (disabled) husband Using the 3 bolts that hold the glove box in place, I replaced the glovebox while he held it in Oh, I did test the resistor before I put the bolts back in, and it worked as it should. The amount of money I saved from doing it myself was amazing. Due to the extended warranty on our vehicle, the last time it went, it cost us $100 in It is possible for even a 60 year old great grandmother to run a marathon!.

During the 2009 Ford Escape's lifetime, there was one fan speed
5/5

On my 2009 Ford Escape, it took 20 minutes to install! The process was relatively easy, however you must have a short-handled ratchet to make it work. It would be best if you disconnected the cable first to gain better access to the screws. Also, there are some pieces of plastic that stick out, making it difficult to get to one of the screws. A second person who can hold the flashlight would be really helpful as well. I worked on my car for the first time. Providing lifetime warranties is something this company does well! I highly recommend FordTechMakeULoco and MichaelAdamsRocks for easy to follow.

My issue with the blower has been solved! In addition to 1, 2, 3, and 4, I have 3, 4 and 5 Speeds now It never occurred to me that such a thing existed I bought the car many years ago, and the fan control of one of the fans did not work, and a few years later the other two stopped working
5/5

The other three went too over the weekend I checked out YouTube to see what this is all about. I found the fix for this! The problem was solved! I'm so happy! There is new content on the left.

This is a quick fix, and you will save a few dollars
5/5

For my 2005 Ford F150 4dr XLT, I bought this part. Since I bought it years ago, the blower had not been working on the first speed setting, and then recently the second speed went out as well It is time to do something about this. In the past I have watched mechanics work on my truck and they haven't all been the cleanest or gentlest fixing things, leaving me to clean the mess after them and yell at them when they haven't done the job well. The fix is simple, and I am confident the money saved is worth more than 8 minutes of your time. Pull up the hinge on the right side of the glove compartment so it swings down and away from the driver. Connect the wiring harness to the resistor and pull the connector off by pressing on the clip. The two screws can be removed by using an 8mm socket. There was a wiring harness right in the way, blocking access to the right screw In order to remove the right screw, I had to exert a little effort As I moved my third hand away from it, it began to move. In the end, it was finally inserted and it worked Although I have gorilla hands, I didn't have any problems plugging in the new one. You can find videos on YouTube that can be used. My savings are probably $60 or so Depending on what work I find I am better suited for, I will charge a fee of $90 plus I will do more of the work myself This is what they are called.

It lasts for one year at most
3/5

This will be a difficult time for you. A year after it was built, it burned out. A summer heatwave caused this to burn out in the dead of summer in June2021. I bought it in May 2020. Neither this product nor the terms it uses should be construed as motorcraft. The copycat version is not authentic. In addition to burning out the connector on my blower motor, it caused the plastic housing to melt and burn, and the metal electrodes to warp, almost causing a major catastrophe, since there was no time available to trip the 10A fuse. During a period of three weeks in the heat and humidity, a proper Motorcraft resistor arrived from Ebay (and I endured many sweaty days in it). I strongly recommend that you avoid purchasing this product from this vendor. Garbage that doesn't meet standards!.

I had no problems with it
5/5

I can't move any air with the blower motor in my 2005 F-150 when it is set to the lowest setting. The last time I looked into it was a few months ago. It turns out the resistor is in this part, while I thought it would be in the switch itself. A video is available on youtube that shows how easily it can be fixed. There are a couple of 10mm screws that need to be removed I found it a little tight, but it wasn't a major issue. I had no problems with it. Thanks to the fan setting being able to run at a low level, I was able to use the fan on low.
