As a replacement part for my motorhome, this was an OEM part made by Freightliner. As is typical of truck builders, the original part was originally a Ford truck, so they purchased it from one of the big three manufacturers in order to reduce While the holes were off when mounted in the bracket, it did not pose a major problem. Mark them with a pencil and drill it without the resistor in place (to avoid damaging the resistor).
The 03 F- I have was manufactured in 2003 The resistor I purchased is the exact replacement part for the blower motor on my F250 Super Duty. It was an exact fit. Before replacing the resistor, never forget to get the new wiring connector that matches the resistor. At the very least, you might want to look at the condition of your plug, since they are commonly corrosion-prone.
This blower resistor did not work when I installed it. Due to the fact that I passed the deadline to return the product, now all I am left with is a negative rating for this entry. If the sellers don't replace it with a functional one, then your rating will remain one-star.
S. THE UPDATE IS The price is cheaper! The O part needs to be replaced. I purchased a M Dorman product last year that costs more money than other brands and is also made in China, and it has lasted longer to this date. Using a new Dorman product also manufactured in China for a better price
We'll see how long this cheaper product also made in China lasts.
After pulling the battery and battery tray, I could easily get into the battery. It was only because my wiring was burned that I had to remove my tray. I had to use female spade connectors instead. Over the past few years, Blower has adjusted every setting.
I had trouble reinstalling the bottom screw because Ford made it so tough. Nevertheless, the blower has been working smoothly since then.
Do yourself a favor and get a new plug because these rot into the unit, and they cannot be separated.
I had been looking for this part. During the fan's default setting, only two settings would be available. was able to solve the problem on his part. It's possible that you'll need to purchase a new plug and wiring set. There is usually brittleness or a fused connection with the old resistor on the plug.
Two hours were needed to install the 3 turbo diesel engines. This seller is excellent and I highly recommend him.
