I am not quite sure what to make of the "remanufactured" TIPM that Dorman sells. In spite of following the installation procedure, I wasn't able to lock the car with the remote. Then I tried the horn, but I couldn't get it to work. It turned out I just had to reset my original TIPM, and the horn started working again after that. TIPM's lid is taped up as best as I could, and I leave it in place. The item I am reviewing is not one I would recommend. It should be 100% error free, every time, for all the money they are asking for this item.

The part was not a freshly received remaining part. The part seems to be a return, so we will have to replace the first part that I ordered. My part arrived in one box, with no seals on any of the small connections plugging in. I thought it must have been a mistake on Form and part, but they assured me they seal all parts.
