Questions & Answers
My Dodge caliber went through the same thing. If you want to reset the computer, turn the key half way so only the electronics for the car turn on. Do not operate the engine 30 minutes is the right amount of time When the new computer has been able to communicate with the electric/battery light on the dash console for 45 seconds, the car should be able to do it automatically. I restarted my car, and I was able to get everything working.
As a matter of fact, TIPM The low beam on my left was not working, for example. A specialist replaced it for me in a few minutes after I went to the store. After the installation, there is a yellow label stating that clear codes need to be entered. Suddenly the day running lights of the car started flashing, and the wipers began moving, and the engine began to run. It was a big surprise that the left low beam was still not working, but also that the small bulb below (European style) was also not working. I found out that the left low beam was working for a few days, then it stopped working the next day. It was reported to me by the mechanic who replaced the TIPM that the problem must be with the wiring harness since there is no connection between bulb and socket The Tipm. The wire may be loose, cut or blow out of high temperature somewhere, or any number of things could cause this. As for my 2 still nonworking bulbs, I'm not sure about that. have a look at the wire harness in the car, I can't find those cables for the lights because the loops for wiring are so long (so many cables for each wire). The two options that I have now for my situation are You can leave the car in body shop for couple days and watch TV at home or buy a special transmitter for the car Use the receiver to turn on the left beam telemotically, and the little remote pilot to turn on the right beam (bringing the wire (=) from the right low beam would not make sense since it would I also noticed that the old TIPM appeared very clean on the bottom and top, just like the new one. Therefore, tipm in my caliber 07 did not help and I ended up losing another little light bulb at the same time. (There is a yellow label about clearing the codes) It is hard to know if the code reader will work in Your car right away. It is likely that (for example, in my case) a mechanic would have to spend a long time playing with the wire harness if a wire somewhere in the middle snaps.
Could you please let me know Your car is not working what is the problem?
The same thing happened to me. After having to take the vehicle to a dealer service department, the TIPM (again) had to be replaced, along with diagnostics at the dealer level To get it all to work, I had to do an underwater diagnostic and computer coding. This nightmare was not pleasant. We aren't sure if there is a problem with our installation (in which the TIPM does not sync with the computer), or just the way the systems are built.

I installed this on the vehicle, and the dealer informed me that there was no programming required. The item I am reviewing is not one I would recommend.
A part from the car parts store fixed my non-functioning drivers side low beam along with a couple of other electrical problems for $400 less than dealer prices.
It saved us hundreds of dollars when we installed it ourselves.
