It is not possible to adjust the temperature or speed of the fan. I have updated After requesting a refund, I was approved promptly, and I can expect to be refunded in the next few days. It's great that you respond so quickly and provide excellent.

You will not have to worry about the climate system shutting This item should not be purchased! Nevertheless, I sent it back since it killed my battery after I tried it twice and did the program process twice

Even after performing the shutdown, it did not fully shut down my fan and left it running at a very low speed, almost impossible to tell that it was running. I later replaced my dead battery and put the old OEM back in and somehow it reprogrammed something and now my battery keeps dying because something in the system won't shut off completely I can hear a hum under my glove box that I think is a fan. All of it happened after this piece of equipment was installed, so I have to trouble shoot it all.

The kit was purchased for use with a 2006 The first unit failed to program to the truck, but Dorman technical support assisted me in getting it to work. When the technician did not get the programming to work, he recommended returning the unit and getting another identical model. In order to program my truck, the second unit would not work. Dorman technical services attempted to walk me through the process when I failed to do so I was asked to supply my vin number, and was told that I needed to purchase a remanufactured unit. A unit 18 has been purchased and has been working well.

Tech support was never returned to my call. I called their tech line for assistance, but never heard It was time to return the I did not expect the quality of support to be so poor from Dorman.

This is an easy-to-install program. Lights on LED panels are a little brighter than those on the other panels. I purchased it due to hot air blowing from the passenger side only, even after replacing the blend actuator, which had been verified to be defective. A burnt mess. An actuator connector pin was loose - turned out to be a loose connector - As I squeezed the pins harder, I depinned - The problem has been I am happy to have bought this unit considering it had lots of lights out on the panel when I bought it. A lot less expensive version of parts found in an auto parts store.

You'll be glad you did. I got the job done this way. For the first order, I selected the older model Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and I had to send it back because its software wouldn't download. However, this one worked immediately after it was hooked up.
