It is my guess that it is not.

How does this fit a Chevy suburban 2005?

That should be the case. an avalanche 05 that shares the same platform with my 2015 Aspen. As the one I bought was refurbished, I returned it for cosmetic reasons. It's your call

Should I return it for a core credit, and if so, how much will I receive. Can you tell me who to send it to?

A core charge is refundable according to Amazon, which I verified. In addition to dropping off the part at UPS, I did not keep the part. Because of the way it looked, I couldn't answer what the wear and tear was like inside. It's remanufactured, but fatigue cannot be taken out of one. (See my review.)

I had to replace my old module because it looked bad

I was confident in purchasing a remanufactured climate control module because I have used other dorman products in the past. As a result of Amazon's exceptional delivery time, we were able to enjoy it! The unit was rubbed off in places and looked like it had been scuffed with some kind of scouring pad when I opened the box. A hideous sight! printed and mailed the return label as soon as I could and dropped it off with UPS in no time. I will spend a few extra dollars on the new Delco unit if it's available on Amazon. I feel bad for you, Dorman!.

I will have to find another one since it has already failed. A dealer may have one, so I'm going to check. I have so far been able to use the other stuff.

This was a waste of over 200 dollars, never worked perfectly, the lighting always dimmed after just a few minutes, and in less than 14 months it has completely given up. Product that should be thrown away.
