Is this an OEM that has been rebuilt or an aftermarket like Dorman?

It's a dorman-style aftermarket, but I've used the dorman and this one works better and appears to be of higher quality.

My 2005 GMC 3500 duramax was a perfect fit for it. The blower began to work again after I installed it, but I was unable to control any of the fan's functions. I contacted them via Amazon and received the following information. br>br>After speaking with our technician, he provided us with the following information. I would advise him to disconnect the negative battery for 5 minutes and pull the HVAC fuse from the main fuse box during that time. The battery should then be reconnected, and the fuse should be reinstalled. After that, get inside the vehicle and turn the key to the on position while the engine is turned off. Start the vehicle after 5 minutes and check the function; this will reset the actuators beneath the dash. Please let us know how this goes. br>br>I followed these instructions and everything is now working perfectly. If you're having similar problems with a different year truck, this procedure may not work, but give it a shot; if it doesn't, I'm confident they'll be able to assist you.

First and foremost, let me say that this is an excellent product that was delivered the next day! One of my bulbs on my climate control panel (drivers side heat / cold) went out, so I went to replace it, not realizing it had to be soldered in, and while taking the unit apart, I broke the circuit board, so my only other option was to replace the entire climate control panel. Looking them up, the first one that came up was a dorman one, which was great, but it would not come in for another week and a half, wow, I needed my truck, so I I wanted to be the first to review this climate control unit because it arrived the next day, perfect fit, and got my truck back on the road.

If you're lucky, you'll be able to get a hold of it One of these was placed in my shopping cart. Instead of a window gasket, I discovered one when I opened the box.
