Four dumps were made. The OEM Ford/motocraft tube works really well and is worth the money. I lost some 10 pounds (Excursion) of freon and had to pay almost $700 to have the system vacuumed and recharged just for a $7 part. This is not a good deal.

On a 1997 Mercury Mountaineer, the replacement orifice tube was a direct replacement part. The unit has been installed (along with a new compressor) and after the first month, everything is working, and the AC is blowing cold air.
