Would this be for freon 134A or freon r12?

The 134 works well with it

How about my 98 Ford F-150? I am not sure if this will fit. Amazon says it will fit the GM and it was made for GM. ?

Having read other opinions and seeing others saying it is suitable for the F150, I would agree. There is a similar orifice tube on a Mustang, as well. The number of designs for orifice tubes is quite limited.

The oxygen tube looks like it was designed for R- The 12th or the Does 134 apply? I am sorry, but I am out of town A blazer in size 10 has been converted to a R-sized one ?

A system running at 134 is where I'm running it. It gets the job done. There has been an increasing number of automotive air-conditioning components designed to work with 134 in the last 25 years.

It achieves a good result at low speed or low demand. As demand rises, the results are not as good. Your system plan may be able to use this, but the cost versus benefit ratio is not as good as it could be.

I did not observe any performance gains, therefore I rate it as satisfactory. The tube is a little longer than the OEM orifice tube, but so far it seems to work just fine. I did not notice any performance gains, so I think I will revert back to the OEM.

That's more like a screen than an orifice! Well I got this installed and it worked and looked as expected when I put the old one back. Those who want a screen that works shouldn't have to spend any more money on it!.

In extreme heat climates, an air conditioning system upgrade is required

The extreme heat of Arizona throughout virtually any season of the year can be difficult on the climate control system of my vehicle, so when replacing a part in the system I tried to find a somewhat more expensive adjustable orifice tube which is supposed to operate more efficiently in extreme temperatures. It offers the promise of cooling down my Volvo wagon which has not seemed to cool off enough in the hottest part of the day, but will allow meat to nearly freeze at night or during cooler weather. We'll see how it works after I replace the original orifice tube with this one. Regardless of the cost, it is worth the extra effort if it works well.
