You can be sure it was a perfect fit for my 2015 camaro SS
Your vehicle is in the same generation as my 2014 Chevrolet Camaro, so the vehicle makes are very similar and should be able to be adapted to yours.
Could you please tell me what motor you mean? It fits on the door flap.
The 2010 Camaro RS will be able to fit this. The 2010 Camaro SS that I own has it. Cutting out the section of the heater core box on the driver's side can be accomplished with a hot knife. This area can be difficult to access, but a scalpel blade with a hot knife will do the trick. The blade will do the work for you if you take your time. One good video on YouTube shows someone doing it with a hot knife, is the best video online. Other clips use the dremmel tool, but I would not recommend that because if you get the heatercore mixed up, you can be in a lot of trouble. The process may take a while, but it is cheaper than going to the dealership and paying $1500 or more The cost of removing the windshield and windshield wipers was $2500 It is unnecessary to make a dash to install a $20 part, and once you've cut out the section you will always have access to it should the new one break. Having found YouTube, we took a shortcut and here we are - So far I am pleased with the results (and the hot knife).
I had to cut out the side of the heater housing to replace it, which took 3 hours.
I compared other sites' prices and found this to be much more affordable and made a huge difference in temperature in my 2014 Camaro. It also fits my 2014 Camaro, an essential need, and was affordable when compared to other sites.
You can find help installing it on YouTube. It took me 2 hours to cut the piece with the hot knife that is often ordered with it.
It fits perfectly on my 2012 Camaro. If you are going to spend a lot of money having it installed you may want to Ima is very beautiful and I worked hard to be her. The process is easy and straight forward. There are several Youtube videos that show how you can install your own blend door. You'll be much happier if you buy a heated exact knife. Now I'm kicking back in my car with the AC on enjoying my ride.
It worked like a charm. It took me about 20 minutes to hot knife it open and install it through the hole according to the YouTube video. Caulk was used to seal the area. A three-hour process ended up taking place.
I was replacing one on a 2012 Camaro, and this one fit perfectly.
This is exactly how it is Exactly what I needed.
