Rather than redo the work to replace a less expensive one, buy this quality product
5/5

I had to do a lot of work to get it installed on a 2010 Equinox as HVAC mode actuator. There is a lot of difficulty in getting to the area, and the labor cost makes it expensive to have the work done. Although it may save you a lot of money to install this part yourself, it is a bit difficult to change this part (not the fault of the manufacturer's design). Paying a few extra dollars to ensure it is a premium product ensures that you will not have to replace it again anytime soon. If you are going to go through all of that trouble or expense to fix your vehicle, make sure it is one that will last for years. For the actuator to work again, I had to disconnect the car battery and leave it off for a few minutes. After re-connecting the battery, the actuator worked perfectly again.

15-2004 ACDelco Original Equipment from GM It was the second time that this item had to be replaced on my Chevy 2010 Equinox, because the Dorman unit lasted only It really was no problem at all
5/5

I was able to get it all done and everything worked just fine. br>br>One important aspect is the Chevy rework. This is a calibration reset or a procedure to ensure that the unit works properly. The following is what occurred after the Activate the key and turn it One minute after pulling the HVAC fuse, replace it. Fiel installation should be done again. Start the SUV again, and make sure nothing touches it during the process You are right During the reset of the HVAC controls, the unit must be left for one minute. Please accept my thanks once.

It's going to be hot! It fits perfectly on the front of my 2010 Chevy Equinox, and the heat is back on! Excellent OEM part
5/5

Excellent replacement part. This part has been replaced before by my mechanic twice in the last three years and I am tired of spending hundreds on each checked what it would take to fix it myself and was surprised to find that it's a relatively simple task. Below are some tips I have for you Removing the kick plate for the passenger For better access and leverage, a support plate (two bolts hold it in place) is attached. To remove the leftmost screw on the actuator, you must first remove the furthest screw on the right - this becomes exponentially easier once you reach through where the kick-stand is situated The plate is made up of. In addition, make sure you remove the HVAC fuse for more than 10 seconds after installing the new actuator to give it a chance to properly align. You will not be able to repair the problem without this step!.

I installed the software in just ten minutes, and I find it very user friendly. A little too late before it started to get.
