I've found that Amazon is pretty accurate when it comes to identifying specific vehicles and parts. I understand that going through all of the work and not having the appropriate part for the job is inconvenient. This time, I'd go with Amazon, but if you need a specific part number, you can always use the AC delco part locator.
No, all of those items are available for purchase individually.

(It has been revised). Choosing OEM is always a good idea. Especially when you have to go through the trouble of getting to a part like this that needs to be replaced. My only gripe is with the delivery method. I'm baffled as to why something like this, or a heater core, would come in a shipping box rather than its own box within the shipping box to protect the aluminum fins. I'm coming back to look for a replacement. br>br>Once again, going with OEM is a good idea, but the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Instead of my original three stars, I'll give it a four. The replacement arrived in much better condition than the original. There are still a few bent fins, but not enough to make me think twice about installing it. Since its installation, Evap has been performing admirably. br>br>At the end of the day, when it comes to difficult-to-install parts, you should always go with the best option. Always use OEM replacements, and I mean ALWAYS!.
So far, everything has been running smoothly. Sure . You can get a "Spectra" or other knockoff for a lot less than the AC Delco replacement, and it will "work," but there's no way it's built better than the AC Delco replacement I received, which is a dead ringer for the OE on my 2001 Chevy Suburban, right down to all the adhesive insulating strips you need to make it fit/work just right in the OE HVAC unit. br>br>If you're going to the trouble of ripping your dash apart to get the HVAC unit out from behind it, don't be a fool and skimp on the single most important replacement part you'll be installing. I did it, I reassembled the entire HVAC unit and dash, and my air conditioner is now working like new, and I'm confident it will continue to do so for at least as long as this car is on the road. I'm very happy!.
The item arrived in its original ACDelco packaging. My 2002 2500HD with 6 cylinder engine was a perfect fit. Because you have to remove the entire dash to install this, I didn't want to risk it with anything other than a genuine ACDelco engine. Because OEM is so time consuming, it is well worth the extra money.
Exactly what I needed.
