I'm not sure, but it fit perfectly in a left-drive XJ. If the right-drive HVAC box is identical to the left-drive one, I'd say no because the bends would be incorrect. The pipes have a 25-degree bend to them.
They have the same OEM part number when I look them up, so it should work.
No, but a smaller one will not seal.
I did the work myself, and this evaporator core fits perfectly. There's no issue. This is a Jeep Cherokee XJ model from the year 2000.

It was an exact match. This is the fourth time I've rebuilt a Jeep Cherokee. I'll stick with the Four Seasons brand. br>The evaporator core is charged with either nitrogen or carbon dioxide gas. That's probably how they make sure there aren't any leaks in the core before reassembling the a/c heater box. When you're chasing a vacuum leak during the recharge process, you don't want to do it afterward. When the shipping plugs are removed, gas escapes. I think this is the best core I've ever used. The price is extremely reasonable.
However, changing these out was quite a dismantling job! Now I understand why getting work done at a dealer or other garage is so expensive. It's a doable project, but take photos along the way and keep track of all the screws and nuts to make reassembly go more smoothly.
I just paid $1000 to have this installed, and they said one of the fittings coming out of the firewall doesn't connect to the ac line. I can't even contact this seller, so hopefully they see this and fix it before I waste another thousand dollars!.
Like the other reviews, I wish it came with the insulation around it, but it works great otherwise.
The product was damaged, but the packaging was not; the tubes were oblong rather than round.
It's comfortable to wear and appears to be well-constructed. is still in place. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts. It was well packaged.
When my 2000 Jeep XJ's heater core needed to be replaced, I had my mechanic replace this.
It works perfectly and there are no issues.
