Don't do it! It kinks when the line is too long, so the line is too long

This is not good at all! There is a hose that is 2" too long on this part, so it can't be installed properly. If the extra length is not used then the line will kink when it is Even acquired a duplicate part (same brand and part number) for comparison, and it was too long as well. My day was ruined when I had to make a custom AC line! There was nothing wrong with the seller, just the quality control of the manufacturer (UAC) needed to be checked. It's crucial to distinguish parts from different sources if they are experiencing the same problem. Don't do it!.

The replacement part fits a 2004 Jeep Liberty perfectly. Don't be discouraged by reviews and photos showing the hose kinked and complaining that it is too long in order to deter you from purchasing. There was an error in the installation. hose from the condensor to the compressor is installed with a deep reverse S bend, if that makes any sense. Installing this one is the same as installing the previous one. Ultimately, it will conform to the standard. The people whose systems had problems installed it the wrong way around and could have easily corrected it by manipulating the bend by hand prior to pressurizing it.

Well, its been a few months since I got the AC, and it works It didn't leak nor did it have any issues. I had a kink in it when I installed it, and I was planning to return it, but I thought I should pressurize it first. Once pressurized the kink disappeared.
