There are no metal tubes at the discharge of the compressor as required by the original design. In order to connect the other end of the rubber hose to the condenser, it needs to be bent at a very acute angle. Until a full charge of refrigerant is returned, it appeared that the rubber hose was kinked. Hose had to be tied to keep it away from the distributor with a plastic tie. I don't see the rubber hose to be of same quality as the It is important to note that the sensor attached to this discharge hose on the 2000 Nissan Frontier is an unregulated sensor Ties made of plastic that are lockable To lift the tab, find it and lift it You cannot cut them to remove them. I like the simplicity of the installation and the low price.

It is not an exact OEM match, but does the job for a low price

Although the bend does not exactly match that of the factory hose (at least not for my hose), it works perfectly. As it turns out, the aluminum part is too close to the manifold for my taste. There was so much heat it would absorb that I added some insulation over it since there was so much close to it. I am happy with this solution as it works and I have a functioning AC once more.
