Questions & Answers
The seller, not the buyer, should ask that question.
To begin, obtain some Teflon tape or Teflon pipe dope, and ensure that it is the correct size for the hole by pre-cutting it. Screwing it in and tightening it up by hand if it doesn't go in or if it falls through the hole it's the wrong size, so put the pipe dope or that tape on it and put it in and tighten it up.

The old water pump's fitting had corroded into the pump, making it impossible to remove it. The hole in the new water pump was the perfect match for this fitting. Be aware that some of the holes in the water pump are too large for this fitting. The adapter fitting that came with the new water pump was designed to make the large hole fit this size nipple. So make sure you get the right nipple for the hole on the water pump you want to use, or that your water pump has the adapter fittings to fit this size nipple. br>br>I also used anti-seize compound on this nipple in the hopes of being able to remove it in the future.
However, there is a lack of flow. The unit is made of cadmium-plated steel and can withstand 800 pounds per square inch, according to my calculations. It's built to last and can withstand pressures far greater than those found in a car's cooling system. This adapter reduces the nominal hose ID of 5/8 in to a 3/8 in orifice.
To the block, there is a 108 diesel hot water return fitting. On my 1985 Perkins 4, it was a perfect fit. On my sailboat, I have a 108 for the hot water circuit. The old one was almost completely rusted. It will outlast you if it is primed and painted with high-temperature engine paint.
It's a good one if it's what you're looking for.
Does what it is supposed to do.
This worked perfectly for threading into the top of my Moroso Expansion tank. br>Basically, you get what you see in the picture, and everything fits as it should; The threads are perfect, and the rib at the fitting's end fit the hose and hose clamps I used perfectly. br>It's a must-try!.
Perfect.
Everything went as planned.
