Questions & Answers
I'm not sure about your van, but it fit my suburban from 2005 perfectly.
It should be available in a kit format. Two block offs, as well as individual bolts and nuts (the bolts are longer, so you can rebolt the lines together).
When you place the block offs between the lines, they appear to be completely blocked off. The lines don't have to be bent or removed.
China is where they're made.

Unlike my previous purchase, which required me to purchase a new suction line after I damaged the old one while attempting to install the previously purchased block, this one installed easily on the suction line. br>br>Whatever you do, don't spend the money on a new line installation if you don't care about rear air conditioning. From the start, these factory lines were a bad idea. Corrosion is caused by the combination of aluminum lines and steel brackets. Leaks are the result of corrosion. The replacement rubber lines are good, but they are also expensive, and car manufacturers should be ashamed for designing units that are destined to fail like these lines. br>br>Last night, I charged my system, and it now produces a nice cold output, ranging from 48 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Depending on the value of the set point If your SUV is prone to leaks, consider blocking off the rears. It performs admirably.
Everything went smoothly. I had to take one of the pieces out and reattach it, but it worked out fine after that. I added two more. After 5 cans of coolant, the air conditioner has been running smoothly for several months. I was going to use a vacuum first, but I didn't think it would work. For the time being, it has saved me a substantial sum of money.
I used the supplied gaskets with a little nylog because they appeared to be of similar quality to the ones I had. The most time-consuming part of this job was evacuating and recharging, which took about 5 minutes in total. I added 26 ounces of refrigerant, and the system is now operating at the pressures recommended by GM. br>br>It may have been pointless, but I used silicone stoppers to plug the now-unused lines to prevent them from picking up debris under the hood. Maybe I'll get around to fixing the rear system one of these days.
chevy tahoe, model year 2005 It does exactly what it says.
This enabled me to reactivate my air conditioning system in time for the summer. It's easy to put together and doesn't leak.
There are no leaks, and the AC works perfectly. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it.
Was the solution to my problem that I was looking for.
It did what it was supposed to do.
