Depending on your car, it may require a little modification

It didn't fit the orifice tube on my Ford as well as the old one did, and it looks like on the white side there are extra tabs forming an "+" in the end when viewed from the start. The tabs were too long for my car's windshield, so I trimmed them off to make it look like the original one. Next time, I'll order a Ford-specific one for my car, a 2008 Crown.

It was a pleasure to receive The A/C of the Marquis is now working well. I used a vac pump to vacuum the system. I also opened the lower ac line beneath the hood and cleaned out the line as well as possible. The orifice tube was popped in and the system was recharged. I have been blowing cold for four, five months now. Is hindsight 20/20? This is a direct replacement for the original. Now that I look at cooler climate spec parts, I realize I may have chosen the wrong parts.
