Although there are cheaper alternatives to this, I am sticking with OEM quality after going cheap on the Camshaft Position Sensor for my 301L Grand Prix in an earlier year that did not work. The boot of what was probably the original PCV valve fell apart as I was replacing it in my hand. Additionally, I began to get an intermittent P0171 (bank1 system too lean) code and found the other end of the connector As far as I'm concerned, the replacement was relatively simple and the code has disappeared, so I have no complaints. . . except that I would have preferred to pay.
Exactly what I was looking for! In Nov. 2001, I purchased this item to replace a cracked one on my I was able to solve my vacuum leak using that. This tube can be replaced in a video I have. You can watch my videos on YouTube. heybeachtroll Thanks for your help!.
I could not believe how well this part fit. Although this did not completely resolve the po171 code, it took the code from red to yellow on the obd meter because the old part was leaking air. You'll probably need to go around to the back of the vehicle to find more.
I replaced the 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix with a good one.
It was delivered on time and was exactly as described.
It fit well.
A 2005 Impala III has this installed. It contains 4L of information. The old one had dried out rotting rubber pieces. This one has not been affected by this.
