I'm not 100% certain. To be sure, you'd have to consult the interchange (manual). Alternatively, you could go to an auto parts store and see what they have. Plug in your vehicle's information and compare it to the vehicle listed in the ad to see if the part numbers are the same.
There were no additional wires or pigtails required in my case. I removed it; made up of nothing that was linked; and simply snapped the wires and other connections into place.
I don't think so. Amazon will usually tell you if a part is compatible with your car's year, make, and model. This information can be saved in your 'Garage.' This facilitates my part search. Best wishes,
Examine the image carefully; if it appears to be the same and the holes are in the same location, it should work. That type of work is done in the same way by all of them.

WOW & YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY The air conditioning in my car is extremely cold - FINALLY! br>br>I own a 2005 Chevrolet Classic with only 55,000 miles on it. The air conditioning is on. It's been years since the rear defroster has worked. I bought this "Control Panel, w/rear defroster" after doing a lot of research. " The control panel did not include any instructions. I did, however, "YouTube" how to uninstall and reinstall this control panel. I was able to replace the panel in less than 10 minutes. It did, however, take 30 minutes to re-establish the connection. Programming the automobile br>br>I went for a drive the other day. It was well into the 80s outside. My car's air conditioning is so good that it made my dog shiver. The air conditioning had to be turned down - What a sorry state of affairs! If your old control panel isn't working, DEFINITELY purchase this one. I'm ecstatic that I went ahead and bought it!.
It is simple to set up. My son's car had an issue where the AC light, which indicated that the compressor should be turned on as needed, kept turning off. If this switch isn't turned on, your compressor won't turn on, and your air won't cool or dehumidify. When the light was turned on, his air conditioner worked perfectly. It took me only 15 minutes to put this together, and I'm not even a mechanic. His air conditioner now runs continuously and efficiently. If your air conditioner "flickers," meaning the light turns on and off erratically but cools well when it does, this could be the solution for you. His vehicle is a 2004 Chevrolet Classic (a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu rebranded). Best of luck!.
Like the original, this is cheap junk. When you work on a contract in another country, this is what happens. It was a few years ago that I purchased this. The damned thing now fails in the same way that the previous one did. The A/C button is inoperable and requires several taps to get it to work; this must be a design flaw. We live in Florida and never turn off the air conditioning, so the button has only been pressed a few times in its life. What other option do you have but to buy it iver again? Car that is full of garbage My a$$ says, "Different type of car company. " What's your take on it so far?.
My early 2004 Chevey Malibu's air conditioning was exhibiting the same symptoms as EAZ's review of this item. br>br>"The panel had to be replaced because of the following issues:
- The air conditioner refused to turn on. The light on the A/C button would either blink or go out.
- Only certain fan speeds would allow the air conditioner to work. The A/C or recirculate would be turned off if the fan speed was changed.
- The recirculate mode wouldn't turn off. "br>br>According to the part selector tool, this will fit Malibus models from 2003 but not 2004. My license plate and VIN indicate that my vehicle is a 2004 model, but many of the components appear to be from a 2003 model. As a result, I ordered this unit to fix my faulty air conditioner. br>br>In about 15 minutes, I replaced my old control unit with this one (thanks to EAZ for his instructions). My air conditioner was up and running again after the installation. I took a 1000-mile road trip from Southern California to Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, and back home three weeks after the swap. My air conditioning didn't fail me once throughout the trip, keeping my family cool in the 100-degree (F) heat.
With summer approaching, my girlfriend was complaining about her A/C button not staying on all of the time; it was sporadic and would flicker on and off, implying that the a/c system would do the same. The car was a hot mess and a nightmare to drive for half of the time, and the windows were broken due to the car's age (a 2004 Chevy Malibu). The air conditioner was the only way to keep the car cool. I found this unit after looking around on several other websites. This unit installed without a hitch and took less than 30 minutes to finish. The part, as well as the vacuum lines in the back of the temperature control and the electronics for the others, are all attached with only a few screws. br>br>I would have given it 5 stars, but Amazon stated that this part would not fit the vehicle listed above, so I deducted one star. In reality, as I previously stated, it was the exact part; after another 30 minutes of driving around the neighborhood, I didn't see or feel the A/C switch or cycle as I had previously.
Everything went as planned. The ACDelco 15-in-1 is a versatile tool that can be used in a The 72846 Heater Control unit was reasonably priced and arrived promptly. Because of the same issue that others have had, I replaced the unit in a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu. The dealer wanted $315 for the part alone!br>The panel had to be replaced because of the following issues:

- Only certain fan speeds would allow the air conditioner to work. The A/C or recirculate would be turned off if the fan speed was changed.
- The recirculate mode wouldn't turn off. br>Many thanks to EAZ for providing the review, instructions, and photos. The replacement was a breeze thanks to his assistance. Finding the screw I dropped under the seat proved to be the most difficult task! The device performs admirably, and we no longer need to keep the button pressed to get through the summer.
00, but it'll be worth it for the peace of mind it'll provide in comparison to my old one, which was constantly blinking on and off. You can't always get your way; sometimes you have to pay your way first and then wait for your blessing.
The local Chevrolet dealership wanted to charge me $300 and possibly $100 for installation of the part, which prompted me to do more research. Other technicians speculated that my blower motor resistor had gone bad, prompting me to do more research. I'm glad I came to Amazon to find out that I wasn't the only one who was having problems with the blinking lights and inconsistency of the A/C and recirculation buttons on the module. Only the first and second settings allow for cold airflow; The twinkle light show and warmer airflow would start when you switched to and through the 3,4, and 5 settings. My 2002 Malibu's air conditioning has been fully restored thanks to a simple and quick installation. Mommy and my three young children are now content!.
