Seals or latches into place but does not seal

However, this cap does not have the same dimensions as the OEM cap, despite fitting the application. This results in it not sealing properly at the end of it's travel or latching into place properly at the end. This seal is made of a- There is a problem with the diameter of the ring and it won't seal the radiator pressure, which is why radiator caps exist.

I couldn't get my old cap to seal tightly. There was only one size that fitted perfectly on my 1999 Passat GLS!.

Fits better than OEM, nice and snug

As a result of drying rot, the original cap from 2002 disintegrated and the threads fell out. Keep in mind that I only have 135k miles on my car. As a result of the threads being so weak, the cap blew off from all the pressure and I had to stop driving until a new cap was delivered. The package arrived promptly as it was supposed to after 2 days. I'm really happy with the service. Shipping time was really fast and I'd recommend it.

It did not fit (was not threaded) for my 00 Vr6 Jetta Glx

According to advertisement, the part would fit the 2000 jetta vr6 glx sedan as well as the 1999 audi a4. The 8T is a Among my purchases, I bought two of the same item, and they both should have fit my car, as advertised. The Audi I used it on had to be forced into place sort of. There was some trick to forcing it into the thread. I tried the replacement cap on the Jetta and it did not fit (this might be difficult to explain). I see a reversed pattern on the threads, as well as the plastic holding piece.

This product will not fit VW Golf GL 2004! My disappointment comes from the fact that I liked the color If the Amazon fit guide is incorrect, there shouldn't be an instruction to "check the Amazon fit guide

It's easy to replace an Audi

This is a great replacement for the Audi Allroad we had. A mechanic recommended replacing it since it is prone to getting clogged or not venting properly. It has been a great start so far.
