This cable works just as well as the one I was replacing (1990 Nissan D21), although it is 3 or 4 inches shorter. I tried elimating the problem, but it didn't work. The speedometer oscillates at lower speeds, which is frustrating. It's a silver lining that I passed the SMOG, so it can't be all.
It was easy to install the Speed cable and now I don't need to worry when I see a police officer Speed monitoring.
The length of the sentence is incorrect.
1990 Nissan D21. I am replacing my 1990 D21 hardbody 2x4 Nissan manual truck with this one. It is awesome.
Although it works very well, the wire is about two feet too long. I will have to redirect the wire and make sure the exhaust is not contacted with it. I'm not sure how long it will work given how hot the engine is and how narrow the cable must be. As a whole, I am very pleased with my new speedometer.
